The problem
Customers called, texted or just showed up — and each channel ended up somewhere different. When the mechanic was under a car, the phone rang into the void and the customer drove to a competitor.
On top of that, the daily “is my car ready yet?”. A dozen of those calls a day pulled people away from work and broke the day into pieces.
What we built
We started with the simplest version that actually closes the loop: one screen showing what's coming in, which bay it's in and when it leaves.
- Vehicle intake: customer, car, issue — done in half a minute.
- A bay calendar with day and week views.
- Job statuses: intake → diagnosis → repair → ready for pickup.
- A daily plan for the whole crew, works on a phone too.
The result
After a month the shop saw 31% fewer missed bookings, and the front desk got back roughly 6 hours a week — time that used to disappear into status calls.
We only added new features once the crew themselves said what was missing. Not from a wish list written at the first meeting.
